Description: The Mountbatten Institute provides recent graduates and young professionals with international business experience through one-year paid internships in London. Sponsor companies range from large multinationals to small firms. The internships reflect different fields including finance, accounting, HR, marketing and communications, IT, and law.
In conjunction with the full time internship, interns pursue a postgraduate qualification. The academic qualification places the interns' experience in context by allowing them to draw upon, integrate, and apply their studies to the practical experience of their employment. Interns study towards either the Postgraduate Certificate or MBA in International Business Practice awarded by St Mary's University College, London.
For those interns who pursue the MBA, the degree is completed through an intensive semester of academic study in Bangkok, Thailand following the year in London. During this residential semester, interns build upon the knowledge and skills developed in London with particular emphasis given to Asia's role in the global economy.
